New Look to GCA Website!

We are pleased to launch this new look to the GCA website. You will find that most information can still be found in the same areas with some slight changes in navigation intended to make more efficient use of your time.

November Focus: Holiday Shopping Through BoxTops Marketplace

The Box Tops Marketplace allows any school supporters (grandparents too) to earn cash for our school when they shop online. First, you must start at the Box Tops Marketplace at boxtops4education.com. When you click on a link to an online store, you will be sent to that store’s website, where you can shop as you normally would. These stores have agreed to automatically donate a portion of each qualifying purchase to our school.

GCA State of the Academy 2011

If you missed Monday’s State of the Academy address, here are some highlights from the evening. After enjoying a time of food and fellowship, parents saw how their investment in Christian education was making an impact here in the Tidewater area as well as around the world. Through giving of their time and talents, flower beds were mulched, nursing homes were painted, food was collected and distributed, and students participated in countless other opportunities to put their faith in action. Academically, there has been an increase in the number of students taking AP courses, an accelerated track in mathematics in the Lower and Middle School has been adopted, and planning continues to increase the academic rigor of the academy through training and integration of technology in the classroom.
